Why are some people successful and others not? John Maxwell says, “Successful people think differently than unsuccessful people.” We must be good thinkers and we must be thinkers of good.
First, be a good thinker. James Allen in his book As A Man Thinketh wrote, “Good thoughts and actions can never produce bad results; bad thoughts and actions can never produce good results.” Let me challenge you to take 15 uninterrupted minutes each week to think about TABLE TALK. How can you make your TABLE better? Who can you invite? How can you go the extra mile to encourage someone from your TABLE? Take time to be a good thinker.
Secondly, be a thinker of good. The Apostle Paul puts it this way,
Phil 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.
Being a good thinker and a thinker of good will change your life and the lives of those around you.
